Korean Easy (koreaneasy.com) is an interactive Korean language learning app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data we collect.

What Data We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

We store your app preferences (Korean font choice, theme) and learning progress (learned items, vocabulary list, section progress) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the app is used. It collects anonymous, aggregated page view data. No cookies are set and no personally identifiable information is stored. This runs without prior consent as it collects no personal data.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect page view data, session information, and device type. Google Analytics only loads after you have given explicit consent via the cookie banner.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not set any cookies for app functionality. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics will set the following cookies on your device: _ga (expires after 2 years), _ga_* (session identifier). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies.
